Roger J. Friedman, M.D., P.C.
As a native Washingtonian, Dr. Friedman left the District of Columbia and completed his undergraduate education at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where he majored in Architecture and minored in the sciences. His medical school degree was obtained from the George Washington University School of Medicine where he graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Post-graduate education took place at the University of Michigan in both General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Post-graduate fellowships in Hand and Microvascular Surgery in San Francisco and Cosmetic and Breast Surgery in Honolulu were completed prior to going into practice in the Washington Metropolitan area in October, 1984.
Dr. Friedman is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons as well as the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is on the clinical faculties of both George Washington and Georgetown Universities. Dr. Friedman served as the Chairman of the Sub-Section of Plastic Surgery at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland from 1997 through 2000. Dr. Friedman has published papers in the Plastic Surgical literature and presented papers at local, national and international meetings on topics including breast, facial cosmetic surgery and body contouring and reconstructive surgery.

Douglas L. Forman, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Douglas L. Forman was elected to Phi Beta Kappa during his undergraduate studies, then he obtained his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Yale University, where he won numerous awards. His training culminated with a subspecialty fellowship in Breast and Aesthetic Surgery at Georgetown University.
Dr. Forman received his board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons. As a Clinical Instructor in Surgery at Georgetown University he is involved with the training of tomorrow’s plastic surgeons. He provides aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery for the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and Dr. Forman has been recognized as a Top Physician in Plastic Surgery by Washingtonian Magazine.
On a national level, he is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has been selected to prestigious American Society of Plastic Surgeons committees helping to advance the field of medicine in general, and plastic surgery in particular, in an ethical and patient safety oriented manner. Dr. Forman has published numerous plastic surgery articles and regularly lectures on new developments and procedures in plastic surgery.

Kathy Huang, M.D.
Dr. Kathy Huang was born in Taiwan and raised in Bath, NY, in the scenic Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. She attended college at Harvard University, where she graduated magna cum laude with highest honors in Biology. During that period, she also did extensive research in molecular biology at Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, publishing numerous scientific papers in national journals. Dr. Huang then obtained her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where she stayed to continue her training in the highly competitive integrated plastic surgery residency program at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Huang joined the Plastic Surgery Institute of Washington in 2006 after finishing a fellowship at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore under the direction of Dr. Bernard Chang, focusing on state-of-the-art, advanced microsurgical techniques for breast reconstruction after mastectomy including DIEP (Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator) flaps. She also brings to the practice a special interest in ethnic cosmetic procedures including double eyelid surgery and female genital procedures such as vaginal reconstruction and labiaplasty (labia minora reduction).
Dr. Huang is Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She also serves on the board of the Montgomery County Medical Society and is licensed to practice medicine in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
