Hyaluronic-Acid Fillers Are Ideal for Treating Wrinkles

Published on April 6, 2018

The signs of aging affect everyone regardless of gender, ethnicity, and lifestyle. There are a few factors that can hasten the formation of these signs, such as smoking, genetics, exposure to sun, and stress.

Cosmetic medicine has come a long way in creating cutting-edge anti-wrinkle solutions, and many people now use injectable dermal fillers to fill their facial age lines. Injectable hyaluronic-acid fillers like Juvederm and Restylane are effective ways to eliminate facial lines, folds, and wrinkles.

Hyaluronic-Acid Fillers

Juvederm and Restylane are minimally invasive FDA-approved treatments that help improve the skin’s structure by restoring moisture. They are composed of hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid is a complex sugar that moisturizes the skin in order to restore the moisture it has lost due to the aging process and environmental factors. Once the skin’s moisture is replenished, volume is boosted and the quality of your skin is improved. Through this, your skin becomes smoother, softer, and free of wrinkles and age lines.

Juvederm and Restylane are specifically made of cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Cross-linked hyaluronic acid lasts longer in the body and is much more effective when it comes to attracting and attaching to water molecules.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Hyaluronic-Acid Fillers?

Wrinkles and fine lines can appear as early as your mid-twenties. It’s natural to find them unsightly and aesthetically displeasing. Anybody who has noticed that their face has developed obvious signs of aging such as wrinkles, folds, and fine lines is a good candidate for dermal filler injections.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural organic compound designed to cause no side effects. Dermal fillers are excellent options for people who do not want to undergo major surgical procedures such as facelifts. This treatment does not involve scalpels or create scars, and it requires zero downtime, so you’ll be able to immediately return to your daily schedule.

How Is the Injection Procedure Performed?

Juvederm contains lidocaine, a local anesthetic, which will make the procedure more comfortable by numbing the treatment regions. The first step of the treatment involves choosing the best injection points on the patient’s face. The chosen filler is precisely injected into the skin at these specific points. The compound spreads itself underneath the layer of skin. Antiseptic is applied during the procedure to minimize chances of infection.

The patient can go back to work following the procedure. They are advised to protect their skin from direct sunlight for a few days.

What Can You Expect from Dermal Fillers?

Once wrinkle fillers have been injected, your skin immediately becomes smoother and softer. Wrinkles, lines, and folds are erased, leaving you looking more youthful than ever. Hyaluronic-acid fillers produce results that can last for four to six months or longer depending on a number of factors.

Learn More About Your Dermal Filler Options

A hyaluronic-acid filler may be the best injectable option for your wrinkles and fine lines. Another option we may recommend is Radiesse, a dermal filler composed of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres instead of hyaluronic acid. This filler is used for deeper facial folds and as a result involves deeper injections.

Male Breast Reduction May be the Solution You’ve Been Hoping For

Published on February 16, 2018

Male breasts can make a man feel self-conscious and embarrassed. Your situation doesn’t have to be permanent – your chest can look natural and more masculine with help from an experienced plastic surgeon. In today’s world, thanks to advances in medical technology, getting male breast reduction surgery is more convenient and effective than ever before.

Those with male breasts have a condition called gynecomastia. Gynecomastia is the condition in which the male chest appears to be enlarged, creating the appearance of breasts.

Around 50% of men in the United States tend to experience this condition in some manner or other during their lives. The condition can manifest itself at any age. Adult men develop gynecomastia due to factors like certain types of medications, hormone level fluctuations, genetics, health conditions, and recreational drugs.

Male Breast Reduction

Male breast reduction is a surgical procedure that provides treatment for male breasts. This procedure helps the patient by removing glandular tissue as well as fat from the chest area to modify the contours of the chest. This gives the chest a firmer and more masculine appearance.

While the appearance of gynecomastia can in some cases be managed by addressing excess fatty tissue, often there is also excess glandular breast tissue present, which causes even the leanest of patients to still have the appearance of male breasts. Male breast reduction can remove both types of tissue through various surgical techniques.

At the start of male breast reduction, general anesthesia or local anesthesia with IV sedation is administered in order to make the patient comfortable and pain-free during the procedure. Following this, incisions will be created in order to give the surgeon access to the underlying tissues.

To remove excess glandular tissue, excision will be conducted with the help of a scalpel. To remove excess fatty tissue, liposuction will be performed using a cannula and medical suction. In many cases, the patient will have excess fatty tissue and excess glandular tissue; this requires the use of both surgical techniques.

Why Do People Come In for Male Breast Reduction?

Most patients claim that after they’ve gone through male breast reduction, they feel confident enough to go shirtless – a feeling that they haven’t experienced in years due to their gynecomastia. Patients may experience increased self-esteem and a boost in their confidence level.

If you feel self-conscious or are uncomfortable with the way you look, or if you keep avoiding and missing out on fun activities just because you will have to go shirtless and show your chest, then male breast reduction surgery is worth considering. This procedure can give you an amazing-looking chest. It offers almost immediate and dramatic improvements.

Finding the Right Plastic Surgeon for You

Since male breast reduction surgery is a very personal procedure, it’s best to find a surgeon that you’re personally comfortable with. At our office, we have many qualified and experienced board-certified plastic surgeons to help you address your gynecomastia.

With the Endoscopic Brow Lift, You Can Look Revitalized

Published on February 2, 2018

No one likes premature aging. Age lines and wrinkles on the face not only look unappealing, they appear unnatural on a youthful face. The forehead is one of the most vulnerable regions when it comes to the formation of lines and wrinkles. These wrinkles can make a person look angry or stressed even when they’re not.

With the latest developments in cosmetic treatments and surgeries, newer and better treatment options are emerging. The endoscopic brow lift is one of the many developments to have hit the market in recent years.

The Endoscopic Brow Lift

The endoscopic brow lift is a less invasive forehead lift technique than the traditional brow lift. Because of this advantage, the recovery time is much shorter and can involve less post-operative bruising and swelling. This procedure offers smooth and beautiful-looking skin on the forehead. The results of the surgery look quite natural.

During this procedure, the surgeon makes small incisions on the forehead, just below the scalp. These incisions are smaller than the one made during the traditional brow lift. An endoscope is inserted through those incisions in order to give the doctor a highly detailed view of the underlying tissues.

After general observations, the surgeon makes adjustments to the muscle tissues using another small tool, causing wrinkles to be removed. As wrinkles are removed, the forehead develops a more relaxed and youthful look. The incisions are closed with sutures, and you are free to return home and heal. You can typically return to your regular activities in several weeks.

Good Candidates for the Endoscopic Brow Lift

An endoscopic brow lift is ideal for those with drooping eyelids and facial wrinkles. Signs of aging make people look worn out, tired, or even angry and irritated. Most patients who opt for this procedure are between 40 and 50 years old. Sometimes even people in their late 20s or early 30s also opt for this procedure.

The endoscopic brow lift is safe and involves only minimal risks. Before the actual procedure, patients are advised to stop smoking a few weeks prior to the surgery. It is also advisable to purchase necessary supplies for the healing process, such as cold compresses. You’ll learn more details about the healing process during your consultation.

Benefits of the Endoscopic Brow Lift

The endoscopic brow lift procedure is a great way to regain that youthful look and get rid of age lines and wrinkles. It is amazing how something as simple as the shape of eyebrows can have such a powerful impact on the facial appearance.

Another great benefit of this surgery is that it can be used in combination with other procedures like rhinoplasty. Doing this is an excellent way to achieve more comprehensive facial enhancement.

A Partial Abdominoplasty Sculpts the Lower Abdomen

Published on December 27, 2017

The most stubborn fat on the body is around the abdominal area. Even with exercise, the lower abdomen is the most difficult to tone. When the excess fat is lost, the skin often does not have the elasticity to present a smooth and toned look, leading to sagging skin. Moreover, this part of the body is a problem area for women who have just given birth. Pregnancy causes diastasis, which is a stretching of the abdominal muscles, which often does not go away on its own.

Excess sagging skin, excess fat, and drooping muscle tissues in the lower abdomen cannot be resolved using cosmetological methods. The ideal procedure to resolve the problem is the partial abdominoplasty, also called partial tummy tuck or mini tummy tuck. This procedure removes loose skin and fat deposits from below the belly button while tightening the muscles. There is no repositioning of the belly button, and the result is a flat lower abdomen with a sculpted look.

What Does a Partial Abdominoplasty Involve?

The procedure takes only between one and two hours and is usually done under general anesthesia. Local anesthesia may be used if the surgeon thinks it is suitable for you. A partial abdominoplasty may be performed with liposuction if there is any excess fat that needs to be removed.

The surgeon makes a short incision on the bikini line. Excess skin and fatty tissue are removed from the lower abdominal wall, and the muscles are tightened using internal sutures. The skin is pulled down, and the incision is closed with stitches.

Due to the minimal invasiveness of the procedure, an overnight stay in the hospital is all that is usually required after the surgery. A bandage and/or compression garment will be applied, which will help reduce swelling as well as help the skin of the lower abdomen better conform to the region’s new contours. The compression garment should be worn for up to two to three weeks after surgery.

Recovery and Results

It is recommended that patients take at least one to two weeks off of work after the procedure in order to recover properly. The patient’s diet should also be different during the recovery period; avoid fried, spicy, and salty food, as they may cause digestion problems that could complicate the healing process. Eat foods that are easy to digest so that bloodflow in the abdominal region is minimized, which will in turn minimize swelling.

Strenuous exercise should be avoided until after at least two months after the surgery. There may be mild discomfort and pain, but these can be controlled with the help of prescription pain medication, which the surgeon will provide if needed. The results of the procedure can last for many years, as long as proper care is taken of the body. Regular exercise and a healthy diet are key to maintaining a sculpted lower abdomen.

Is the Partial Abdominoplasty Right for You?

If you’re unhappy with the look of your abdomen, you may be in need of a partial or full abdominoplasty. To find out which option is right for you, contact our office for a consultation. Doctors Roger Friedman, Douglas Forman, and Kathy Huang are skilled board-certified plastic surgeons who will be happy to help.

Get Rid Of Your Dorsal Hump with Rhinoplasty Surgery

Published on November 29, 2017

The nose can make or break one’s appearance. It defines the angles of the face, and the presence of a hump can be enough to change the appearance of the whole face. If you’ve always hoped for a miraculous reshaping of your nose, there is a solution: rhinoplasty. Rhinoplasty is the surgical procedure used to correct and reshape the contours of the nose according to a patient’s aesthetic goals.

Correction of a Dorsal Hump

A dorsal hump is a bump that forms in the bridge of the nose caused either by excessive bone, cartilage, or a mix of the two. Depending on the size of the hump, the causative bone and/or cartilage is removed, trimmed, filled, or broken to correct the issue. As the region of correction plays an important physiological function, it is important not to disturb the septum (the internal structure that separates the nostrils). In a few cases, a special graft is designed to protect the passage between the nostrils from collapsing.

What Does Rhinoplasty Offer?

Patients who seek to get rid of a dorsal hump can achieve their desired result through rhinoplasty. The procedure creates a smoother bridge as well. If you wish to have a more feminine nose, a supra-tip break in the upward direction can be created.

When rhinoplasty is done specifically to address the issue of dorsal hump, it is known as reduction rhinoplasty. A reduction in size translates to removal of excess tissue to reshape the nose to suit the patient’s needs. Reductive rhinoplasty is considered one of the most complex cosmetic surgical procedures.

Complexity of the procedure can be explained by the need to manipulate the region, which is integral in defining the overall shape. While it is easy to reshape in a two-dimensional space, achieving an aesthetically proportionate nose in three dimensions while leaving the functionality undisturbed is a challenge.

Healing After Dorsal Hump Reduction Rhinoplasty

Patients who have had reduction rhinoplasty have felt that the recovery period is not painful. Since the nose is not directly involved in physical activities like walking or sitting, there is no persistent strain that could hamper recovery. Time taken to recover is short compared to other surgical procedures performed on different body parts like the abdomen or breasts. Slight bruising around the eye is common during the recovery period.

During this time, it is important to wear the nasal cast until the time the surgeon says otherwise. Also, it is recommended to refrain from wearing glasses or any other similar accessory that would sit directly on the bridge of the nose.

Dorsal Hump Reduction Rhinoplasty Results

Depending on the extent of reduction, the healed nasal bridge will appear more even. Before the surgery, the doctor offers a digitalized view of the outcome, and after healing, the reshaped nose closely resembles the digital prediction. Thickness of the skin plays a key role in determining the outcome of the surgery.

The Differences Between an S-Lift Facelift and a Traditional Facelift

Published on November 6, 2017

If you’ve been troubled by the appearance of harsh wrinkles on your face, it’s time to take action. Everyone experiences the signs of aging; unfortunately, some show signs of it earlier than others. The signs of aging have negative effects on one’s appearance, and so they must take steps to address them.

In this era of cosmetic surgeries, there are numerous corrective measures that you can take to get rid of those crow’s feet and smile lines. One of these corrective options is a facelift.

There are several facelift options out there, including the S-lift facelift and the traditional facelift. The choice is yours, but before you make that choice, you must fully understand your options. Once you know the pros and cons for these two techniques, you will be able to decide which one will be better for achieving your aesthetic goals.

The Facelift Procedure

A facelift surgery is performed with the goal of reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and loose skin. The surgeon will tighten and lift the muscles under your skin so that you can get better facial contours and look more aesthetically appealing. If there is any excess fat then that too is removed by the surgeon so that you do not have a sagging and aged look.

What Is an S-Lift Facelift?

An S-lift is a type of facelift procedure that gets its name from the type of incision that is done during the process. The shape of the incision is that of an S. This procedure is also known as the mini facelift and is ideal for a less comprehensive and more specific degree of change.

First, a local anesthetic will be given to the patient to numb the region, and IV sedation will also be given so that the patient can remain unconscious for about four to five hours. During this time, the S-lift surgery will be completed.

The S-shaped incision is made at the hairline at the temple region and is continued both in front and behind the ear. After it has been created, the surgeon will reposition your tissues and remove excess skin and fat, giving you rejuvenated facial contours.

What Is a Traditional Facelift?

A traditional facelift is the best option for comprehensive results. It can solve a variety of issues, from sagging around the cheeks to creases below the eyes. This facelift technique is especially useful for women past the age of 50 due to its comprehensive benefits.

The Main Difference

The main difference between the two types of facelift is their type of incision. In an S-lift facelift, the incision made is in the shape of an S, starting from the temple to the back of the ear. In the case of the traditional facelift, the incision starts from temple, goes around the ears, and extends to your neck below. Thus, it covers a larger area and gives more comprehensive results.

The S-lift is less invasive and thus provides a shorter and more comfortable recovery process. The chance of complications is lowered, and the procedure as a whole takes less time to complete.

Ultherapy May Be Your Ideal Rejuvenation Option

Published on October 4, 2017

Skin rejuvenation is as important as the rejuvenation of body and mind. When your age starts to show on your face, your regular skin-care regimen may not be enough. You need something extra. Fortunately, there are many excellent options available, including Ultherapy.

Ultherapy is the only FDA-approved non-invasive and non-surgical procedure that lifts and tightens the neck, chin, and brow and improves lines and wrinkles on the décolletage. It can help you attain a fresher and more youthful appearance from your brow to your upper chest.

Tightening the skin is not possible with surface treatments; Ultherapy reaches deep into the tissues for effective tightening. It uses time-tested ultrasound energy to lift and tighten the skin naturally without any surgery required.

Safe and FDA-Approved

The treatment employs ultrasound therapy to deliver its collagen-boosting treatment. Ultrasound technology has been used throughout the medical field for many decades and is known to be entirely safe, owing to the fact that is used in pregnancy detection and to monitor fetal development.

Ultherapy, or ultrasound therapy, has been officially recognized as safe and effective in clinical studies worldwide and has been used in over half a million treatments all through the globe. It is an excellent alternative to invasive and intense surgical procedures.

The Process

Ultherapy provides precise and accurate results that cannot be achieved by other procedures. The goal of the procedure is to tighten the skin without surgical intervention. During treatment, ultrasound energy is used to stimulate the production of collagen, tightening and lifting tissue.

It integrates conventional ultrasound imaging, which allows the provider and the patient to see the layers of tissue that are being treated on a monitor. This helps the provider deliver the treatment energy to exactly where it will be most beneficial.

Ultherapy can be potentially uncomfortable at times because of the use of ultrasound heat, which is used to penetrate the skin and reach down to the muscular level. To reduce the likelihood of any discomfort during treatment, most qualified physicians will prescribe pre-treatment medications. Any discomfort felt afterwards is not long-lasting, and occasionally the skin has a temporary feeling of tightness.

As far as results are concerned, the benefits of the treatment last for two to five years. Younger patients under 45 usually get closer to the five-year mark, as do patients who actively take good care of their skin, wear regular sunscreen before venturing out or have a history of minimal sun exposure, don’t smoke, don’t drink, and have good genes.

The quality of the results of the treatment depends on the ability of the patient’s body to create collagen. The effects of Ultherapy are visible within three to six months after the treatment date.

Learning More About Ultherapy

Finding out more about what Ultherapy can do is as simple as contacting our office and arranging a consultation. Board-certified plastic surgeons Doctors Roger Friedman, Douglas Forman, and Kathy Huang, as well as our highly trained laser nurses, are happy to answer questions regarding procedures and will make sure you have a full understanding of your procedure.

Adjust Rhinoplasty Results with Revision Rhinoplasty

Published on August 29, 2017

Have you recently experienced unwanted results from a rhinoplasty procedure? You’re not alone in this – a revision rate of 3 to 5% is present for rhinoplasty, even including those rhinoplasty surgeries performed by the best surgeons. It is an extremely complex procedure.

If you see that your nose’s shape has become abnormal after a rhinoplasty procedure, schedule an appointment for a revision rhinoplasty consultation.

What Is Revision Rhinoplasty?

As the name suggests, the main aim of revision rhinoplasty is to correct the abnormalities that occur due to primary rhinoplasty. With revision rhinoplasty, you won’t need to worry about an abnormal look or impaired nasal functionality. If you desire a nose that will look natural and attractive after complications from an initial surgery, revision rhinoplasty is the best option.

When Is Revision Rhinoplasty Necessary?

Do you think your rhinoplasty procedure has created a bad impact on your overall look and overshadowed your otherwise beautiful face? If so, revision rhinoplasty can help.

Here are some of the situations where revision rhinoplasty may be helpful:

• Some people have a collapsed nasal bridge or a bridge that is too narrow. If you were not able to solve the problem with primary rhinoplasty or if the problem was worsened as a result of it, revision rhinoplasty can correct the issue.

• If you are not happy with the symmetry of the tip of your nose or the tip appears to be upturned or pitched, this surgery can prove to be an effective solution.

• In cases where the nasal structure has been weakened by excessive removal of tissue (cartilage or bone, usually), a graft can be used to strengthen the region. These grafts are made from cartilage harvested from another area of the patient’s body, typically the ear, septum, or rib.

• The nostrils of the person may have been overstretched or appear to be notched. These problems can be effectively corrected with the help of revision rhinoplasty.

• Due to the structural abnormalities mentioned above, some people experience difficulty in breathing. A revision rhinoplasty can address impaired nasal airways.

How Is Revision Rhinoplasty Done?

The exact procedure of revision rhinoplasty varies a great deal depending on the problems faced by the patient. Some have it at the nasal tip, while some others have it performed on the middle portion. No matter which region of the nose needs correction, the surgery will be performed with the help of anesthesia to avoid pain and discomfort.

Revision rhinoplasty is typically a more complex process than primary rhinoplasty, as the nasal architecture may be more delicate after the initial procedure. The formation of scar tissue can also affect the process.

The surgery can be of two types – open and closed revision rhinoplasty. The difference lies in the location of incisions made. When the incisions are made on the outside of the nose, the surgery is called open rhinoplasty, and when they are made in the nostrils, the surgery is called closed rhinoplasty. Doctors usually suggest patients go for open rhinoplasty for their revision procedure.

Once the procedure is complete, the incisions are closed using surgical sutures. The patient will be advised to carefully follow the surgeon’s post-surgical care directions so that their recovery process will be shorter and with a lowered risk of complications.

Juvederm Fills Age Lines Instantly

Published on August 21, 2017

The mythical “Fountain of Youth” may have never been found, but the real Fountain of Youth lies in the wide variety of modern age-defying procedures now available on the market. These are all thanks to advances in modern medical and cosmetic science.

Everyone desires to retain their youthful vigor and good looks well into middle age and beyond. Signs of old age like wrinkles, baldness, and drooping skin appear over the course of our lives, and as they do, we do our best to reverse them.

One of the most important factors that contributes to a youthful appearance is smooth, wrinkle-free skin. Taut skin free of age lines will go a long way in making you look young and fresh. To help you retain or restore that youthful look, we offer Juvederm.

Juvederm Injections

Juvederm is the trade name for a range of hyaluronic acid-based injectable gels used to treat wrinkles and folds in the skin. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the human body and plays a vital role in the repair and rejuvenation of the skin. It helps to address the daily damage we suffer due to dust, pollution, sun exposure, and all the rigors of modern life. Hyaluronic acid is key in the body’s natural healing mechanism.

The body becomes less and less efficient with age, and hyaluronic acid production is not exempt from this. Production of hyaluronic acid starts dropping after the age of 20, when our lives are often incredibly busy and stressful.

One must take measures to preserve the health of their skin as they age. But sometimes, the damage will be more than the body’s normal rate of hyaluronic-acid production can keep up with. Thankfully, we have an effective way to restore our body’s depleted hyaluronic acid: Juvederm injections.

Hyaluronic acid does not cause any allergic reactions, since it is naturally present in the body. The hyaluronic acid in Juvederm is sourced not from animals but from bacterial cultures, so you can use it guilt free.

How Does One Use Juvederm?

Juvederm is an injectable product, meaning it is injected via a syringe directly into the skin, into the deep layers, where it works its magic from within. Typical wrinkle-reducing products like topical creams and ointments cannot reach these deeper layers, so they can only achieve so much.

A session of Juvederm involves several injections with a syringe. The doctor may use up to three syringes for a longer session. Injections can reduce the appearance of the nasolabial folds, parentheses lines, marionette lines, and many other wrinkles. Juvederm can also be injected into the lips to enhance their volume and aesthetics.

There are no significant risks, but there can be discomfort due to the injections. This can be mitigated through application of numbing creams and local anesthesia.

Doctors Roger Friedman, Douglas Forman, and Kathy Huang are board-certified plastic surgeons providing a variety of cosmetic and functional procedures to numerous patients in the Washington, D.C., area. To arrange a Juvederm consultation and find out more, contact us today.

Great Curves and Contours Can Be Yours Again with a Body Lift

Published on August 14, 2017

For many people, one of the biggest obstacles to achieving a fitter-looking and more toned body is excess skin around the tummy, thighs, upper arms, back, and hips. These regions of drooping skin do not respond to exercise and diet. You may be in good health and have a healthy lifestyle but still find it impossible to eliminate excess skin. With a body lift, you can target multiple areas for skin tightening and stubborn fat elimination.

The Body Lift: A Combination Procedure

A body lift involves multiple procedures. Because of this, it is often performed in more than one sitting spread out over many weeks.

A body lift may include a tummy tuck, where the loose skin is tightened by removing excess skin, the volume is reduced by removing excess fat, and the drooping muscles are toned by tightening them. A tummy tuck is one of the most common body lift procedures.

A body lift can also address the thighs. Many people are disturbed by flabby thighs that prevent them from wearing shorts and other types of clothing. With a thigh lift, the muscles are toned, loose skin is removed, and excess fat is also eliminated.

A body lift may be needed after a patient has lost a lot of weight. Due to rapid weight loss, there might be loose folds of skin on your body or some residual fat on the abdomen, thighs, and buttocks. A body lift can address these issues, putting the finishing touches on your new slimmer look.

What to Expect During the Surgical Session

A body lift is usually performed under general anesthesia. Depending on the plastic surgeon’s assessment, you might need to stay overnight at the hospital or return home immediately following the surgery. Those who undergo the body lift must have a person drive them home and stay overnight with them.

Typically, body lift procedures involve a large incision around the hips. There are different techniques used to perform the tummy tuck aspect of the surgery. Some types of tummy tuck procedures involve placing sutures in the deeper levels of the skin after surgery to offer a stronger closure, prevent opening of sutures and pressure on the incision. Also, deeper sutures can make post-surgical marks less noticeable.

Eligibility for This Option

In order to undergo a body lift, you will need to be in a reasonably good state of health. You should not be very overweight, and you’ll need to maintain a stable weight for a few months before you can consider the procedure. Patients are asked to stop smoking and consuming supplements and certain medications before surgery.

After the surgery, you are advised to take things easy and not participate in difficult labor-intensive activities for a few weeks at the least. You will also need a few weeks for recovery, so you’ll need to take time off of work. Patients are required to wear a compression bandage to reduce swelling. Pain can be managed through medications prescribed by your surgeon.

With the help of board-certified plastic surgeons Doctors Roger Friedman, Douglas Forman, and Kathy Huang you will be able to contour your body comprehensively for a more enviable figure. Contact our office to schedule your helpful consultation.
