Before Your Surgery: Pre-Op Checklist
A smooth recovery starts with a little preparation. Before your surgery date, make sure you have:
- Received your post-op instructions
- Arranged for a ride home
- Arranged for care for the first 24 hours
- Picked up your prescriptions
- Scheduled your follow-up visits
Keep the following in mind:
- You must arrange for someone you know or a trusted service to take you home following your procedure
- PSIW requires that you have care available for the first 24 hours afterward
- If you have any questions before your surgery date, please contact your patient coordinator
